(Fort Leonard Wood)–The ticketing process has begun at Fort Leonard Wood for the annual Holiday Block Leave. The Block Leave is when many military personnel, especially trainees, are allowed to travel home for the Christmas-New Year holidays. More than 200 trainees assigned to Company D, 787th Military Police Battalion, were allowed to purchase holiday travel tickets on October 21st at Davidson Fitness Center. The ticketing process has been moved from the Army and Air Force Exchange Service Mini Mall to the more spacious confines of the Fitness Center to help mitigate the spread of Covid-19. Trainees are limited somewhat this year on where they can visit due to Covid-19. International travel isn’t authorized, which means trainees wanting to travel to U. S. States and territories outside the 48 contiguous states need to take extra care when booking flights.
