The Executive Director of the Armed Services YMCA of Missouri has announced that he is giving up his position at Fort Leonard Wood.
Zach Guller said in an e-mail post on Wednesday, quote, “This comes with a very heavy heart to let you all know that my family and I have decided to relocate to Southern California. This decision came about rather quickly and due to personal family reasons. “Though I will be departing, I will remain as the Executive director for some time working remotely to ensure that all we have built over the past three years continues to grow. I have developed many amazing relationships and partnerships during my time here. I want to make sure that the Armed Services Y-M-C-A remains strong and does not get set back in any way just because I will not be on site.” Unquote.
He explained that the Armed Services Y-M-C-A headquarters wants to see a permanent Executive Director on the ground in the Fort Wood community, adding that he would be “there to assist in the transition.”
