The Covid numbers are getting better in Pulaski County. The county’s rate of community transmission has dropped from high down to substantial. For the week of October 12th through 18th, 54.9 percent of the population has been fully vaccinated against Covid. In fact, 64.8 percent of the eligible population, which excludes children under the age of 12, has been fully vaccinated. 64.27 percent of the total population has received at least one dose of the Covid vaccine. Preliminary figures for this period of time report only 47 new cases of Covid, representing a decline of 41.98 percent. However, this number will be revised upwards once additional information comes in this week.
