The City of St. Robert issued a new boil advisory Thursday afternoon that adds to the areas in the city covered by boil advisories. Due to a water main break at the intersection of Lee Drive and Freedom Drive, a boil advisory was issued for all of Redbud Circle, all of Wildrose Place, all of Maple Street, all of Freedom Drive, and 100, 108, 110, 118, 120, 121, 122, and 123 Lee Drive. Still in effect is a boil advisory issued Wednesday afternoon for locations south of Z Highway from 66 Estates to Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church. The boil advisory area includes 66 Estates, the Complete Collision Center, Bon-Aire Drive, First Assembly of God Church, Safeway Van Lines, Club Rodeo, two houses in the Woodridge Subdivision at 100 Ridgeview Drive, two houses in the Woodridge Subdivision at 103 Ridgeview Drive, 809 Highway Z, and Faith Lutheran Church.
These boil advisories will remain in effect until the Department of Natural Resources sample results are returned to city hall, which will take 3 to 5 business days.
Customers in these areas are advised to boil tap water for at least 3 minutes before consumption or to use bottled water.
