Tomorrow is Patriots Day, a day set aside to remember the 9-11 terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D. C. twenty years ago. Two thousand nine hundred ninety-six Americans were killed in those attacks by terrorist operatives that day. The Armed Services Y-M-C-A of Missouri will be having an event- packed Remembering 9-11 Patriots Day Festival this Saturday at the Pulaski County Shrine Club grounds in Buckhorn. For young children, there will be a petting zoo, barrel train rides, pumpkin patches, bounce houses, and hayrides. Children ages 5 and under get into the festival for free. Adult tickets are $25 at the gate. Children, ages 6 through 15 will be admitted for the reduced rate of $10. The even is 100 percent not for profit. All proceeds will be donated back to the community.
