Texas County Pleads Guilty To 2nd Degree Murder

On Monday, a man from a Texas County admitted his guilt in court regarding charges connected to a deadly stabbing that occurred in 2021.

40-year-old Adam Reams, confessed to committing second-degree murder.

Reams faced accusations in connection to the fatality of Billy Hayes Jr., a 30-year-old individual who was found fatally stabbed outside a residence in Houston, Missouri.

Hayes was discovered with multiple stab wounds shortly after midnight on June 2, 2021, at a residence located in the 300 block of Broadway.

Initially, three individuals, including Reams, were taken to the Texas County Sheriff’s Office for questioning. Official court documents point out that a knife believed to be the murder weapon, and linked to Reams, was found by the police.

Reams sentencing is scheduled for, November 21st, at 1 pm before Texas County Circuit Judge, John D Beger.
