Texas County drug arrest

A Texas County man has been charged with connection with drug crimes in Houston. Houston Police responded to a business on November 24th, where several people were allegedly acting suspiciously. When the officer arrived he discovered that one of the men, had multiple warrants for his arrest, including charges of felony drug possession and distribution and child endangerment. The man identified as Steven Holden was placed under arrest, and during a search, he was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and a substance that tested positive as methamphetamine. At the scene, Holden took off running but was again taken into custody as he was attempting to cross Highway 17. After results came back from the Highway Patrol testing lab, Holden has now been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. His bond is set at $200-thousand-dollars.
