Texas County driver injured in Sunday accident

A Plato woman was injured in an accident on Highway 17, 5 miles North of Evening Shade in Texas County Sunday Morning. The Highway Patrol reports a 2013 Chevrolet Pickup Truck, driven South by 45-year old Melinda Melies of Plato, ran off the right side of the road and overturned. Melinda Melies was taken to Texas County Hospital with minor injuries.
