Texas County Authorities Investigate Fatal Shooting Near Licking

A fatal shooting occurred on Wednesday afternoon near Licking, resulting in the death of one man, while another man has been taken into custody.
Authorities, including Texas County Sheriff’s Deputies and Licking Police, responded to the incident at a business located on Highway CC at approximately 4:00 PM. where they discovered the body of a 58-year-old man at the scene. As a result of the ongoing investigation, a 62-year-old man has been placed in custody and is being held at the Texas County Jail.
No names have been released and further information about the incident will be released by the sheriff’s office at a later time.
