A Texas County man who was found guilty of the 2017 murder of a transgender teen, known as Ally Steinfeld has been sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison. 21-year-old Andrew Vrba, was one of 3 people arrested and charged after Steinfeld’s burned body was found in Cabool. Vrba and the others were accused of stabbing Steinfeld repeatedly in the genitals, gouging out her eyes, and then setting her body on fire. Vrba was found guilty in August of this year, during a bench trial that was held in Greene County. Today he was sentenced to life in prison without parole. Ally Steinfeld’s birth name was Joseph Matthew Steinfeld Junior.
