Temporary road closures in Lebanon and work on I-44 West Bound

Several Lebanon streets will face temporary closures this week for street and railroad maintenance projects.
Beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Adams and Washington streets will close at railroad crossings for repairs. Adams Street should be reopened by 3 p.m. Tuesday and Washington should be reopened by 3 p.m. Wednesday. Detours will be required while railroad work is underway.
Over the weekend, drivers might have seen the demolition of the storage building next to the new MFA building on Madison Street. Large equipment had Madison Street blocked and traffic was being rerouted.
One lane of I-44 westbound will be closed as work on the new bridge at Marshfield continues this week. Drivers should slow down as they approach the work zone and observe the posted speed limits.
