(St. Robert)–Cable America has created free, temporary Internet access for Waynesville school district students to use to complete their homework on the gravel parking lot between East Elementary and the baseball field, just off of State Road F in Waynesville. Parents are expected to remain with their students in the vehicle as students complete their assignments and to maintain social distancing at all times.
“We cannot thank Cable America enough for creating this free service to help Waynesville R-VI students continue their education,” said Dr. Brian Henry, superintendent. “The fact that Cable America is donating this service demonstrates how much our community supports our students and believes in the importance of their education.” The access will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is strictly for Waynesville R-VI students working on their school work. No password will be required.
