They are going for a record at Lake of the Ozarks

An effort to put the Lake of the Ozarks on the world map will take place on June 12th. Guinness World Record judges will be at the event for the attempt to beat the world record of 1180 boats in a parade. Tom Abbett is one of the organizers of the event….

Abbett said all participating boats will need to register ahead of the parade

A Registration fee of $50 will cover the cost of one boat, a shirt, and a flag. Boat Parade registration fees are going to support the largest firework display ever produced in Missouri on Tuesday, August 10th in celebration of Missouri’s Bicentennial.
