Teens injured in airborne crash early Saturday morning

Three Teens were injured in a one vehicle crash early Saturday morning just after 3:20am. Missouri State Highway Patrol arrived to the scene a quarter mile north of Rolla on County Road 8110. The accident occurred when a 2014 Ford Focus driven by 19 year old, Rolla resident, Kenneth Pankey, Became airborne over a hill, traveled off the left side of the road where it struck a creek bed and overturned. The driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to Phelps Health Hospital and later transported by air ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia. The two passengers, 18 year old Zolboo Munkhjargal and 17 year old Dakota Triska, suffered moderate injuries and were transported by ambulance to Phelps Health Hospital.
