Teacher of The Year Honored

Missouri’s 2022 Teacher of the Year says students need someone to believe in them and tell them they can do great things. James Young is a Musical Theatre, Vocal Music, and Guitar teacher in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Missourinet attended a ceremony Tuesday night in Jefferson City to honor Young.

Young is the first award recipient from his district and is a 1995 Ferguson-Florissant School District graduate. He was chosen among six other finalists for the top award.
