Tayron Walter of St. Robert has been arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit court

Tayron Walter of St. Robert has been arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit court on two charges of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of resisting a lawful stop. Court documents allege that on March 31, Walter fled from an officer who attempted to make a lawful stop on a vehicle operated by Walter. While fleeing, Walter failed to stop at stop signs, drove through residential areas at a high rate of speed, and drove at speeds more than 85 mph in a 55 mph zone. Court documents further allege that Walter knowingly possessed both fentanyl and methamphetamine, both with the intent to distribute. Walter has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Judge Colin Long has set a counsel status hearing for April 8 and a preliminary hearing for April 22.
