Multiple topics were discussed at the July 17th School of Richland Board Retreat Meeting. This was the last meeting before school starts up on August 21st. Mostly topics regarding the new school year were discussed. The bathrooms in the district will be getting repaired, as well as the plumbing. Richland Schools Superintendent Tina Turner said the board discussed a tax levy.
The board approved some bids for the new school year.
In other news Turner says all the busses are ready to go for the new year, and the board had to sell a passenger vehicle but purchased a new one that will follow the bus routes and take students to conferences, student travel, and athletic transportation.
The boards next scheduled meeting will be August 21st the first day of school .
