Tax Bill is due

The deadline to pay your personal and real estate taxes without penalty is coming up soon. In Laclede County, your tax statements should have already arrived in the mail.

Gilstrap said you can turn in your assessment sheet anytime before the first of March 2020. As for paying your most recent tax bill, the deadline is December 31st, to avoid penalty. There are a few options to paying your bill, you can do so online at the County Collector’s website, you can pay at the window of the County Collector’s Office, by traditional methods, or put a check in the drop box at the Second Street entrance outside the courthouse.
