Syringes For Drug Users?

State Senator Holly Thompson Rehder says programs that give drug users access to syringes help to reduce addiction and the spread of disease. A House committee has voted in favor of her bill that would allow organizations registered with the state to run a syringe access program to legally provide such drug supplies.

During a committee hearing on her bill, no one spoke in opposition. The next stop for the bill is another House committee.
