Sustainable Ozarks Partnership annual meeting
It’s time again for the Sustainable Ozarks Partnership annual meeting. This meeting is the S-O-P’s annual planning session where the four-county regional defense community support organization reports on its accomplishments, considers its performance over the past year, and sets objectives for the coming year.
The organization also hears from several of its local, state, and federal-level elected leaders and Army partners on the importance of collective support of the nation’s defense from here in the heartland. S-O-P leaders anticipate that 200 business, governmental, and civic leaders from the four-county region will participate in the meeting.
Invited speakers for this year’s meeting include Missouri Governor Mike Parson; U.S. Senators Josh Hawley and Eric Schmitt; 4th District Congressman Mark Alford; Brigadier General Joe Ricciardi, Deputy Commanding General of the U. S. Army Installation Management Command; Major General Christopher Beck, Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood Commander; Missouri Military Advocate Harry Roberts, and Mike Dubois of Kit Bond Strategies.
Registration will begin at 8:30 in the morning on August 16th at the Ark Community and Sports Center in Waynesville. The meeting will begin at 9 o’clock. All attendees will receive a free lunch. RSVP through Eventbrite no later than August 11th.
