A man who reportedly called Cabool Police on Tuesday to tell them he was going to rob a store is facing multiple charges in Texas County. According to the probable cause statement, 9-1-1 received a call from 33-year-old Gilbert Olague Junior, who said he had a warrant for his arrest, and that he was at Casey’s General Store and he was going to rob the place. Witnesses told police that Olague had entered restricted areas of the business, grabbed a coke from the cooler and began drinking it, and then threw half of it on the floor. When the store manager went to the back office area to call the police, Olague pushed her into the office and slammed the door. Store employees attempted to open the door but he was reportedly holding it shut. Olague held the woman in the office until police arrived, after which he came out and surrendered himself. Gilbert Olague Junior is charged with kidnapping, burglary, assault, and stealing. His bond was set at $200-thousand-dollars.
