A Sunrise Beach man is facing a felony after being accused of a crime against a child. The investigation began in August when a complaint was filed alleging that 22-year-old Trevan Isaacs has been sexually active with a 13-year-old girl. During the investigation, the girl told officers that Isaacs had told her that he was 17, but it was determined that at the time, he was 21. According to the probable cause statement, the 13-year-old and Isaacs met via social media and exchanged messages and photos. The relationship eventually led up to the two meeting in person, and having sex. The man is quoted as saying he knew the girl was underage, but thought she was 15. 22-year-old Trevan Isaacs is charged with statutory rape in Camden County. At the time of his arrest, Isaacs was out on bond on a charge of Statutory Rape in Morgan County.
