Sunrise Beach Fire Protection Grant

The Sunrise Beach Fire Protection District has been approved for a grant by the Missouri Department of Public Safety. The 20,000 dollar ARPA grant will help the Fire District receive new portable radios that the firefighters can carry during emergency incidents. Fire Chief Joseph LaPlant is very happy to add updated technology for his crew.
LaPlant says the district will be receiving 6 portable radios, a repeater, and the district will cover their portion with funds.
The total amount will be $43,935.54 cents.
Those new portable radios should be arriving in a few months.
