Summer Travel Season Begins

Memorial Day time is the official kickoff to the summer travel season in Missouri. Nick Chabarria, of Triple-A Missouri says the auto club expects U.S. summer travel to be close to or exceed pre-pandemic levels…

Chabarria says airfare prices have jumped 20 to 30-percent over this time last year, but he says you can still find some last-minute airfare deals. He says some of the most popular summer destinations are the beaches, west coast, Vegas, national parks, and international travel.
