Missouri has plenty of low-cost summer fun options. Stephen Foutes, the director of the Missouri Division of Tourism, says the state’s parks and conservation areas are attractive options that don’t break the bank.
Popular beaches are at the Lake of the Ozarks, Table Rock Lake, Mark Twain Lake, and Fugitive Beach in Rolla. Foutes says if you’d rather be indoors, several Missouri Conservation Nature Centers have exhibits for people of all ages.
