Stress in the workplace is a real thing and it can negatively affect job performance. But it also can affect your mental health. She says suicide is the leading cause of death among working age adults in the United States…
Lorek says that not talking about workplace stress is what’s hurting people. OSHA is trying to break the stigma around suicide and mental health. They are calling upon businesses to share and make resources available for employees to seek mental health care, if needed.
