A 46-year-old Stover woman faces up to ten years in prison after being charged with embezzling more than $70,000 from a sheltered workshop in Versailles. Authorities say Kenda Lea Fergerson is charged with stealing the money from Quality Industries, a sheltered workshop that assembles respirator masks. Fergerson is accused of not depositing checks into the account of the business but rather into a bank account held by her and her mother.

Fergerson will be arraigned on May 10th before circuit judge Kenneth Hayden in Morgan County.
