Stover Man Dead In Wednesday Night Accident

A 79-year-old Stover man is dead following a single-vehicle accident at 10:57 last night in Morgan County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports a pickup driven by Michael A. Kern crossed the center of Ivy Bend Road, overcorrected, crossed back over the road, overturned, and struck a tree. Kern was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was not wearing a safety device.
