A call about an intruder at a home on King Road in Stoutland on Tuesday night led to charges against a Stoutland man. The victim reported that a man had broken into her home, armed with a garden tool. While deputies were responding they learned the suspect was identified as Anthony Stradt, and that he ran from the residence and was sitting in his car, which was stuck in a ditch. A neighbor had reported fired shots and was holding Stradt at gunpoint when deputies arrived. Stradt was taken into custody and was uninjured. Further investigation revealed that Stradt may have kicked in the door of another residence, but nothing was taken. Stradt has been charged with 2 counts of trespassing and one count of property damage. His bond was set at $5-thousand-dollars.
