Stormin’ Norman is moving to a new home in Lebanon
Stormin’ Norman Pipeline’ is getting a new home in Lebanon. The metal sculpture was presented to the citizens of Lebanon and Laclede County in 1991 for their support of troops and families during Operation Desert Storm and has stood on the grounds of the Laclede County Courthouse since that time. That sculpture has been removed and is currently getting cleaned up for a new home. The metal sculpture was constructed by the 515th Engineer Company from Fort Leonard Wood and is accompanied by a plaque inscribed: ‘Stormin’ Norman Pipeline’ the symbol of the 515th Engineer Company. Shelton said they are still waiting on a Tank which will be staged at the Veterans Memorial as well.
