Storm wind knocked down power poles and trees

Storms that swept through the Northern part of the KJEL listening area overnight have kept crews with Laclede Electric Cooperative busy. Dudley said Camden County reported wind damage

There has not been a confirmation of a tornado at this time. The Camden County Sheriff’s Office reports that winds brought down trees and caused some damage to homes and fences. Low water crossings were impassable for a time as well. At this time, Regional Radio has no reports of injuries from the storms. Laclede Electric crews continue work to restore power to all member’s homes.
