Storm water management underway in Lebanon

The City of Lebanon continues to make efforts to manage stormwater runoff and prevent flooding in residential areas. One such effort is under construction right now near Washington and North Highway 5. Lebanon City Administrator Mike Schumacher tells Regional Radio News crews are working on a large detention area….

He said while the retention area may fill quickly, it will drain slowly to control the flow of rainwater into those areas that have typically flooded during heavy rain.
