Storm Causes Early End to Fair

The storm that rolled through Lebanon early Saturday evening knocked out power to parts of the city for a couple of hours. The storm also put an early end to the Laclede County Fair, which was forced to cancel last night’s Mid Missouri Sanction Pull and close the midway to carnival events. The City of Richland Parks Department postponed last night’s fireworks celebration. The make-up date will be Saturday, July 31st, with food and music in Shady Dell Park, beginning at 5 pm, and The fireworks show will begin at dark, about 9:30 pm on July 31st.
