Stay at home cutting into City Revenue and the lively-hood of Lebanon Businesses
As the stay at home order remains in place until May 3rd, the City of Lebanon could be seeing a drop in sales tax revenue as time progresses. Lebanon Mayor Jared Carr said he’s also concerned about the impact the stay at home order is having on small businesses and residents in Lebanon.
The City of Lebanon has made some adjustments to allow residents to keep their lights on during the pandemic. To provide relief for those who are not currently able to pay for utility services, a temporary freeze is in place for utility disconnects. Lebanon Utility customers who are impacted and in need of assistance paying their bill should call the City Utility department to request payment arrangments or payment extensions.
