Two thousand job seekers and more than 150 employers took part in a virtual job fair on July 22 – run by the state Workforce Department.
There is another one this Wednesday- AUGUST 5th- with even more participation, says state Workforce Development Director Mardy Leathers

The Department was given $13.9 million in the CARES Act to help Missourians unemployed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and 24 out of 27 job centers are open this week- to help Missourians find employment in a tough economy. Five Missouri Job Centers across the state reopened last week: Arnold, Kirksville, Sedalia, Florissant, and Nevada.
