State to Spend Another 30 Million on Hospital Staff
Gov Parson will spend another $30 million in state funds on contracting additional staff for hospital capacity and antibody infusion.
This will happen at 5 to 8 sites, helping around 2,000 patients daily across the state.
Acting state health director Robert Knodell says they are contracting with other companies – along with Vizient- to help these hospitals
Parson also said that the new ambulance strike teams will begin going to other parts of the state:
Parson says he is prepared that the Delta Variant will be in Missouri for a while – and that its still up to local schools and parents to decide how to protect their unvaccinated children.
