State To Offer Movie and Music Tax Credits

Look out Georgia. Missouri will soon offer tax credits to help attract the film and music industries to the Show Me State. Governor Mike Parson has signed the bill into law that will offer the tax credits later this year and they won’t expire until in 2030, unless the Legislature extends them. Representative Kurtis Gregory, a Republican from Marshall, helped to get the bill across the finish line.
Georgia offers attractive film tax credits and has lured many productions to the state.
