State Senator Upset Over Lack Of Tax Cut Support

Another bill that fell short of passing this year would have given Missouri residents a cut in the taxes they pay on autos, farm equipment, and other personal property. State Senator Bill Eigel of St. Charles County sponsored the measure. He blames some fellow Republicans for the bill’s failure, accusing them of being more concerned about passing sports betting:

Eigel made those comments during an appearance on Missourinet affiliate KCMO. He’s also exploring a run for Missouri governor.
