(Waynesville)–The new state legislative session will begin next Wednesday in Jefferson City. 122nd District State Representative Steve Lynch of Waynesville says he has seven priority bills that he wants to pass in this, his final year, in the Missouri House.

Missouri’s term limit law keeps anyone from serving more than 8 years in the House. They can serve an additional 8 years in the Missouri Senate before being limited out there.
Lynch wants to change the term limit law to allow members of the Legislature to serve all 16 years in the House, or in the Senate, or serve a combination of years in the House and Senate that total no more than 16 years.
