State Prepares For World Cup

The Missouri Legislature is looking to get the Show-Me State ready for when the 2026 World Cup comes to North America with Kansas City being one of the U.S.’s host cities. Senate Appropriations Committee Chair Lincoln Hough (huff) says that $50 million is proposed in next year’s state budget to help welcome in the largest and most prestigious sporting event in the world…
The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be the first to feature 48 teams and three host countries – the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
