Stabbing investigation in Lebanon

Charges are pending in connection with a stabbing in Lebanon last night. According to Lebanon Police, the 61-year-old victim reported that he was giving the suspect a ride and he began acting irrationally. He said when he pulled over and told the suspect to get out, the 59-year-old stabbed him in the forearm and ran off. The victim drove himself to the Mercy Lebanon Hospital where he was treated for his injury. The suspect was located at a residence in the 200 block of Garfield and was taken into custody. The suspect is currently in the Laclede County Jail awaiting charges.
