A St. Robert man was arraigned in court in Pulaski County on charges of trafficking and tampering with physical evidence. 39-year-old Jamel Van Hampton is accused of Possessing more than twenty milligrams of fentanyl, and concealing a bag of fentanyl, to avoid prosecution to trafficking and/or possession of a controlled substance in March 19th. Court records list Jamel Van Hampton as a prior and persistent drug offender. Judge Colin Long set Jamil Hampton’s bond at $100,000 and set a counsel status and bond review hearing for March 23rd.
