(St. Robert)–The city of St. Robert has announced that its annual spring cleanup will be held on Wednesday, April 8th. Residents are being encouraged to place items that need to be picked up by the curb by 6:30 that morning. Items that will be picked up include appliances such as washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves. Furniture, construction waste that will fit into a trash can, carpeting, empty or dried up paint cans, and computer towers will be picked up as well. The following items will not be picked up–tires, yard debris, vehicle or lawnmower batteries, TVs, and computer monitors. No large piles of carpeting or remodeling items nor refrigerated appliances will be picked up. This free spring cleanup service will be for residents who live inside the city limits and pay their trash bill through the city. It will not be available for apartment buildings or rental properties that have dumpsters, vacant rentals, or businesses.
