St. Pats Parade is only a few days away in Rolla
The Best Ever 115th annual St. Pats Parade is only a few days away. It will occur in Rolla this Saturday morning at 11 o’clock, with part of the parade route on Pine Street painted green. Then from one to three o’clock Saturday afternoon, a free St. Pats concert will be held, featuring The Schwag, at the Rolla Band Shell at the corner of 9th and Oak Streets. The Schwag band, a band of musicians dedicated to carrying on the music of the legendary Grateful Dead band, has been playing this annual event for over 20 years. The show is free and open to all ages. Speaking of St. Patrick’s Parade, the MSCoE NonCommissioned Officers Academy provided a joint-service color guard. The 399th Army Band took part in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday in downtown St. Louis. Fort Leonard Wood supplied soldiers who also marched in the parade.
