St. James man in court on charges of harassment

43-year-old William Scheider of St. James has been arraigned in Circuit Court in Waynesville on a charge of harassment in the first degree. Court documents allege that Scheider on or about September 6th of last year threatened to kill a subject and did cause that person to suffer emotional distress. Scheider entered a not guilty plea to the charge at his arraignment. Judge Colin Long scheduled the case for a counsel status hearing on February 15th.
