A woman who traveled from Springfield to Lebanon in an Uber on New Year’s Day was arrested by Lebanon Police. An officer responded to the call in the 25-hundred block of Granite Lane for a woman who was acting strangely. The caller told police that he was an uber driver and he believed the woman was under the influence. 37 year old Kimberly Rose Harris told the officer that she was having a bad day and the Uber driver left her. The woman said she had a warrant for failing to appear and it was Lebanon’s fault because she had been trying to pay a ticket for 2 years. While speaking to Harris the officer learned there were illegal substances in her purse. The officer seized drug paraphernalia and a small baggie that contained methamphetamine. Harris was taken to the Laclede County Jail and is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
