Springfield man sentenced in Webster Co child molestation

A Springfield man has been sentenced in connection with crimes against a child in Webster County. Tommy Lee Speer was arrested in 2019 following allegations that he had sexually molested a 12 year old. During the investigation, officers learned of other potential victims. Earlier this year Speer pleaded guilty on a reduced charge of child abuse. He has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
