Sports book and the state legislature
Betting on sporting events, and a casino at Lake of the Ozarks is still on the mind of many as the Missouri State Legislature prepares for the 2022 session. Regional Radio News had an opportunity to speak with State Representative Jeff Knight about the topic. He said the chance of legislators considering a casino at Lake of the Ozarks is slim, but Sportsbook may still be up for consideration….
Knight said ultimately with so many neighboring states offering it already, Missouri is losing money because they don’t.
