Special Operations Team Called To Wright County Jail

According to a social media post, a special operations team responded to the Wright County Jail in Hartville Saturday night after inmates refused to go into their cells.

Wright County Sheriff Sonny Byerley said the incident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. and involved up to seven inmates.

Byerley says calling the special operations team is the standard operating procedure and said no one was hurt and no property was damaged. Byerley said there was never a threat to the community.
