Special Blood Drive Happening Soon

A special blood drive will be held this weekend. The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is calling this blood drive their ” Rally for Riggins” and it will be this Saturday, June 17th on the Square in Hartville from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Riggins Moore is a nine-year-old boy who has needed multiple blood transfusions. Media Relations Manager with the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks Michelle Teeter says this is one way that the Hartville Community can rally around him, and there will be more activities than just the blood drive.

Teeter says that Moore has had nine transfusions.

You do get some cool gifts when you give blood that day

Remember when giving blood make sure you eat beforehand and bring an ID.
